Wk11 final for my painting class. A complete utter failure in lighting and texture. The figures are not bad except for the (lack of) faces. I ran out of steam and time and this will be retired as a learning experience, never to be truly finished.

I painted this in two days at enormous size in Photoshop. It's for my social science class, a commentary on the lack of growth in tradition and ritual regarding the veneration of our ancestors and elders in contrast with the unchecked growth of medical technology. Increasing the length of life in neglect of its quality.

Fudger!!!

Spent all day trying to overcome creative-mega-block! Anyway.... stick with what ya know n stuff.

Heres two semi-old characters finding one another in the woods. This is probably not going to be my final layout or lighting or anything. I did many thumbs on many different subjects in different layouts and picked this one and this is the first lighting sketch i did so....yea.... whatever.

Working on a final composition for painting class right about now funk soul brotha. Heres a WIP shot of my OWLBEAR painting! The BEST Dungeons and Dragons monster for a level 1 party. Awesome!!! I remember back in the Mike and James days, playing dungeons in Daly City and my ninja decided to go solo and scope out a cave and provoke an owl bear and lure it outside and hide behind the paladin and take pot-shots once in a while until it was dead and the party was damn near close. They were not happy with that ninja let me tell you.

Anyway here's the picture. Wanna finish it later, add some more details into the owlbear and from there establish better lighting and environment and maybe some human victims for scale. Its a little different from the one pictured in the Monster Manual but it gets the "point" across. Hm hm hm! Puns.
