Latest painting for class. Supposed to do a character. The background and the rest of the character was unfinished and pretty shitty. Banged this out from start to this in about 5 and a half hours. Not as fast or as good as I'd like to be. Next assignment is to do a creature so we'll see how that goes.

Midterms. I did this painting. Took probably around six hours not including snack and coffee breaks. Didn't really breakthrough into something viewable until the last 45 minutes. Not great but not monstrous.

A Real update

Im taking digital painting this quarter at AI-SF. Its pretty cool, so far we've done land and cityscapes and this week have moved on to interiors. Im looking forward to vehicles and characters. I think some things might get cut out of the syllabus on account of some students only wanting to be able to paint textures and not giving a real shit about knowing how to paint or expand their own illustrative styles which pisses me off. Anyway heres some of the stuff I've done so far that seems to be working.
